Phantom green tea tasted by Inoh Tadataka

<Tea dealer Ohtakaen>

This is a tea specialty store that was founded in 1765, the middle of the Edo period, and has been around for more than 250 years.

Tea is mainly sold there, but teaware, cigarettes, coffee beans, laver, etc. are also sold.

Ok! So firstly,

I had a drink of “Chukei-gonomi” which is said to have been favored by Inoh Tadataka.

250 years ago, when this shop was founded, it was when Tadataka Inoh came to his son-in-law, and at that time it was said that this shop was serving tea to the Inoh family. “Chukei-gonomi” is a reproduction of that tea.

The package features a character-style Tadataka Inoh. It is very cute. . .

Because it is tea with Sawara style, it seems to be a good souvenir.

The taste I actually drank is very easy to drink even though it has astringency! It is refreshing and delicious. People who like green tea will absolutely love it.

There are many other delicious teas,

Popular products are here! “Kinijrushi“.

It is also a tourist-friendly shop with English notation 🙂

The price is basically 300 to 2500 yen in 100g units. In terms of price, it seems that products of 1000 yen have been sell best!

Also, for those who want more quantity than quality, You can pack as much tea as you want into the tea leaf box.

Finally, the most surprising thing to me is this teaware.

Banko-Yaki” in Mie Prefecture and “Tokoname-Yaki” in Aichi Prefecture are on sale.

It is a valuable work that you can hardly see. Very nice!

It seems that five or six were sold in the last four months. For that reason, Mr.Ohtaka asked the craftsman to purchase it.

The craftsmen said, “Reservations are full until 30 years in the future.” lol

So these works are becoming more valuable in the market. I was very surprised.

There are works that show the delicate technology of Japan, so why don’t you visit Sawara and see at a glance?

Dear Mr. Ohtaka

Thank you for participating in my interview.
