Special tonkatsu in a tasteful space

Kinoshita opened in June 2018. This restaurant was actually Japanese Hotel, the Kinoshita Ryokan. We closed the ryokan and made the second start as a tonkatsu restaurant using the building as it was. Therefore, the restaurant has a calm atmosphere unique to a ryokan and is sure to stay long time.

The most popular menu is “Roast cutlet set meal” using SPF pork. Our restaurant uses “Hayashi SPF”, a pig raised in Tosho-machi, Katori-gun. The pigs are raised in clean pig houses with thorough hygiene management, and in the blessings of nature. So, they are said to be safe, secure and good for health and beauty. In addition, frying oil, a blend of canola oil and corn oil is used. It is said that using this oil makes the tonkatsu fry quickly and makes it difficult for the stomach to lean. Bread crumbs are also special. Coarse breadcrumbs are used, and you can enjoy the crisp texture. The sauce are two flavors, sweet and spicy. They are sourced from a long-established sauce shop in Saitama Prefecture, and this is also the store's specialty.

Providing "handmade" is also one of our specialties. The pickles added to the set meal, as well as the salt koji used in the "baked pork set meal" are also handmade.
